Hannah Williams Playground

Attention!! THIS PLAYGROUND HAS BEEN TORN DOWN FOR SAFETY ISSUES. THE TOWN OF WAYLAND IS PLANNING TO REBUILD AND HOPES IT WILL BE COMPLETED IN EARLY 2012

The Hannah Williams Playground has a unique large wooden structure for children of all ages. Children love to run through the structure, go down the slides and explore the different areas. There are swings for both babies and older children, a tire swing, and a large sandbox filled with sand toys. Some parents say it difficult to watch children play here (without chasing after them) because the structure is large and there are a lot of places to hide. This playground is popular and can get crowded on nice days.

Additional information

There are picnic tables and a small adjacent park.

Directions

This playground is very close to the intersection of Route 30 and Route 126 in south Wayland. If traveling north on Route 126, the playground is on your right, almost immediately after you cross Route 30.
