Official Website

Belkin Lookout Farm is a fun place to visit. You can pick seasonal fruit and enjoy a visit to the shop where they sell everything from meats to delicious baked goods, organic produce and gelato. Spend the day with your family riding the trains, visiting 2 petting zoos, running through the burlap maze, playing on the NEW children's play area, enjoying pony rides, learning about the bee observatory and much more!! Children will enjoy the animal barn where they can get a close up look at peacocks, pigs, sheep, goats, chickens and more.

  • Don't miss the Great Pumpkin Express.
  • Note that Lookout Farm charges for parking, train ride to the apple orchards, etc. Worth the price for the adventure but surprising to some who don't expect it. It's more of an attraction than your average U-Pick farm.
  • For a quick stop or just to get a good feel of the place, you can park at the shop and take a quick look behind the barn for a tiny petting zoo. Nowhere near the wonder of the full adventure but probably enough if you're short on time, just want some seasonal and/or yummy treats, and/or your kids are under 1-2 years old and can't yet handle the whole adventure.
  • In addition to apples, they have Asian pears available for picking. Not only is this great for anyone allergic to apples, apparently the trees are shorter so the little ones can participate more completely in the picking adventures. If this is important to your visit, check with the farm for availability before you go.
  • It's strongly recommended that you try to visit during the week or early or late in the season. Crowds can be overwhelming in the height of apple and pumpkin season (i.e., late September - October). Particularly on weekends, traffic backs up both ways on Pleasant Street and waits just to get in to park can be upwards of 20-30 minutes. The wait for the snack bar (in season, weekends) can be long and may be difficult for young or hungry youngsters so consider packing a lunch or at least some snack to control your own destiny.

Have fun!

Hours

  • Open from 10-5:00.
  • The trains will run to the upper petting zoo on Saturdays and Sundays
  • Birthday Parties
