Playground at Greene's FieldThis a large woooden playground near the center of Needham. Children of all ages will love this unique climbing stucture. There are small and large metal slides, swings, tunnels, a fireman pole and a large tire swing. There are areas designated for horseshoes and bocce, although they are a bit forelorn. You need to bring your own equipment. Additional informationThere are picnic tables, and adjacent playing field and basketball court. DirectionsFrom Rt 128 take Exit 19B Highland Ave toward Needham Center. After the Town Hall take a left onto Great Plain Ave (Route 135) go through a set of light. The open field will be on your left and the playground set back behind it. Park on the street.        |
